Evan has been a warrior for individual rights at Marsicovetere & Levine Law Group since he joined the firm in 2020. He has represented hundreds of clients in criminal matters, civil rights violations, employment disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, restraining order proceedings, and other civil matters all over Vermont.

Evan is a strong courtroom advocate with substantial litigation experience. Evan has taken several cases to trial and litigated many restraining order hearings and pretrial motions involving complex evidentiary issues and expert witness testimony. In June 2025, Evan attended the National Criminal Defense College Trial Practice Institute where he honed his trial skills with intensive instruction from some of the nation’s most skilled and experienced defense attorneys.

Evan is also a talented negotiator and has helped obtain numerous favorable outcomes for Plaintiffs in civil matters, both at mediation and through direct negotiation with the opposing party. Evan understands the importance of maintaining strong relationships with his colleagues on all sides of the aisle, leading to more effective and collaborative negotiation and ultimately to better client outcomes.

Evan is an effective communicator. He uses plain language and an approachable manner to enable his clients to fully understand their legal situation, the consequences of the decisions they have to make, and counsel on the steps to take to achieve the best possible outcome.

Evan is an Upper Valley native who was born, raised, and later returned to the rolling green hills of Pomfret, Vermont, where he resides today. Prior to attending law school, Evan worked in the live music industry as a touring lighting director and a dedicated, life-long musician. Evan started his academic career at Berklee College of Music and still enjoys playing bass with several local bands in the Upper Valley Area and lighting up stages with some of his favorite bands all over New England. When not on stage at a concert or in the courtroom, Evan enjoys the beautiful outdoors right on his doorstep and beyond, tinkering on fun cars, reading books that expand his worldview, reciting stand up comedy, and occasionally trying his hand at writing both fiction and nonfiction.
